Beautiful 3 bedroom Villa with plenty of carachter located in the lower part of El Faro (The Lighthouse). This villa is at the end of a cul-de-sac and so is nice and private. It is two story house, on the ground you have a hall, downstairs bathroom with shower, sitting/dinig room which leads out to a covered terrace and garden, fully fitted kitchen with ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, oven, dishwasher. Upstairs you have 3 double rooms, two leading out to a terrace with panoramic sea views, and the 2nd bathroom with shower on this floor. The masterbedroom has a double bed and the other two bedrooms have two single beds each and downstairs in the sitting room you have a sofa bed. There is a washing machine in the garage.
The villa has a large private garden with panoramic sea views. The house has fibre optic and air conditioning . There is a large communal pool which is only shared by a few houses beside the Villa.
Less than 10 mins walk to the beach of El Faro which is a lovely small bay and has a nice restaurant. It is also close to the Playamarina area with some restaurants. La Cala only 5 mins drive away, Fuengirola 10 mins and Marbella 20 mins.
The villa is ideal for family summer holidays, golf holidays or as a base if you want to travel around Andalucia and visit interesing places such as Granada and visit the Alhambra (you need to pre book for this), Seville , Cordoba and visit the Mezquita which is a spectacular Cathedral -Mosque , Jerez famous for Sherry and many bodeguas to visit, cross the border into Gibraltar and see the local Monkies and St Michaels Cave or good for shopping (passport needed) or cross the water to Morocco in North Africa for the day (passport needed) and visit the intersting city of Tangiers a completely different world. If you just want a small drive then explore the countryside around Malaga and visit some of the little white villages such as Mijas, Istan, Nerja, Friglianna, Competa, Alhaurin, Monda and many more, visit the lakes in El Chorro or if feeling adventurous walk the Camino del Rey (you need to pre book for this) or waltz around and mix with the jet set in Marbella and Puerto Banus. Malaga city also really nice to visit , birth place of Pablo Picasso and you can visit the Picasso museum which is in the historic centre of the city where you will also find the Alcazaba ( a little mini Alhambra in Malaga) or down to it's newly opened and renovated harbour with plenty of bars and restaurants.
For Golfers you are also spoilt with choice, El Chaparral Golf Club is on your doorstep, close by you have La Cala Resort, Mijas Golf, Santana, Calanova, La Noria (9 hole), Cerrado de Aguila (9 hole) and between La Cala and Marbella you have Santa Maria, Cabopino, Santa Clara, Rio Real, Marbella Golf, and within 1 hour or less you have more courses such as Los Naranjos, La Quinta, Las Brisas, Aloha, El Paraiso, La Zagaletta, Valderrama, Sotogrande, Villa Padierna, Finca Cortesin, Vale Romano, Estepona all between La Cala and Sotogrande, and between La Cala and Malaga you will find Torrequebrada, El Parador, Guadlhorce and many more courses to be found on the Costa del Sol or sometimes known as the Costa del Golf.
Shopping…. Centre of Fuengirola, Myramar Shopping Center (outskirts of Fuengirola with a large Primark) and Dunne Stores close to it , Marbella, La Cañada (with it's big Apple Store), Puerto Banus with it's designer shops and of course the famous Spanish big stores of El Corte Ingles in Mijas Costa, Malaga and Puerto Banus.
Open market on in La Cala on a Wednesday and Saturday morning from 09.00hrs — 14.00hrs.
La Cala de Mijas which is the closest town to the villa is a small old fishing village and has plenty of nice restaurants and cafes and also a long sandy beach. It is a very family friendly village. You can also start the boardwalk from here and walk to Calahonda along the coast.
In La Cala you have the following supermarkets, Super Sol, Mercadona, Lidl and Aldi.
Water parks, in Fuengirola you have Mijas Aquatic Park and Aqualand Torremolinos.
As you can see plenty to do here for everyone.
